The first sign of Bowel Cancer is usually invisible
Each year, bowel cancer kills more Australians than breast or prostate cancer. It's the leading cause of cancer deaths after lung cancer. Hence, the burden of illness from bowel cancer is significant. There is an increasing push to reduce incidence and mortality by introducing screening. Bowel cancer is one of the more treatable cancers, and early detection is the key to effective treatment.
