65 Roses is Cystic Fibrosis’ national fundraising initiative. It raises awareness and essential funds to extend and improve the quality of life for people with cystic fibrosis. - All May
Crohn’s and Colitis Awareness Month
An annual campaign held each year in Australia to raise awareness about the impact of living with Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis. - All May
Macula Month
Macula Month is raising awareness of all macular diseases. “Are you at risk of macular disease?” is the question Australians are being asked this May.

National Heart Week
Heart Week is an opportunity for health professionals and the Australian public to start a conversation about heart health and the steps needed to reduce the risk of heart disease.

World Hand Hygiene Day

International No Diet Day

World Ovarian Cancer Day

International Awareness Day for Chronic Immunological and Neurological Diseases (CIND)
Raising awareness about diseases such as Myalgic Encephalomyelitis (ME), Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS), Fibromyalgia (FM), Gulf War Syndrome (GWS) and Multiple Chemical Sensitivity (MCS). - 15 May
International Day of Families
Observed on the 15th of May every year. It reflects the importance the international community attaches to families. - 17 May
World Hypertension Day
Aims to promote public awareness of hypertension and to encourage citizens of all countries to prevent and control this silent killer, the modern epidemic. The theme is ‘Know Your Numbers’.
