World Salt Awareness Week
This campaign helps raise public awareness of the damaging effect of too much salt to our health. This year’s theme is “It’s time for ACTION on salt.” - 8 March
International Women’s Day
A global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women. It also marks a call to action for accelerating gender parity. This year’s theme is “#BalanceforBetter”. - 10-16 March
World Glaucoma Week
Over 300,000 Australians have glaucoma, yet 50% don’t even know it. The yearly event is for raising awareness of glaucoma, including essential information about the common condition. - 11-17 March
Brain Awareness Week
Brain Awareness Week (BAW) is the global campaign to increase public awareness of the progress and benefits of brain research. - 13-17 March
World’s Greatest Shave (leukemia)
“Together let’s shave the world!” A fundraiser to help Aussie families beat blood cancer. - 13-20 March
Coeliac Awareness Week
Highlights the importance of the gluten free diet as a medical necessity for people with coeliac disease. This year’s campaign is “#treatglutenseriously”. - 14 March
